Training Page 1 of 1 3/04.0 (REV 3/91) ASSISTANT RESERV E COORDINATOR The purpose of this order is to describe the duties and respons ibilities of the Assistant Reserve Coordinator. I. General The assistant reserve coordinat or works under the direct superv ision of the administrative sergeant who functions as the designated reserve coordinator. Specific duties and responsibil ities include the following: A. Assist in monitoring the day -to-day reserve activities. B. In the absence of the reserv e coordinator, attend routine me etings of reserve staff officers. C. Assist in the development of p rocedures to recruit new reser ve officers. D. As required, sit as a member of oral panels meeting to asses s the qualification of new reserve officer applicants. E. Assist in monitoring on-going , in-service training programs for reserve officers. F. Function as a background invest igator to determine the suita bility of applicants for the position of reserve officer. G. Participate in scheduled comm unity activities and assist wit h necessary supervision of reserve officers participating in the event.
