OUTSIDE AGENCY SPONSORED APPLICANT POLICY
The purpose of this order is to s et policy regarding the admiss ion of recruits sponsored
by outside agencies. I. Policy Statement
It is the policy of the Division of Training and Reserve Forces to allow admission
of students sponsored by outsi de agencies based on the followin g criteria:
A. The applicant must be officially sponsored by a law enforcem ent agency.
1. No written test will be administered by t he Division of Trai ning and
Reserve Forces prior to admittance.
2. It is suggested that the diffi culty of the course be imparte d to the
requesting agency and that spons orship should not be made
without some assessment.
B. Each candidate shall be requi red to meet the entrance level requirements
for the basic academy physical agility test.
