Training Page 1 of 1 2/11.3 (REV 3/91) SHERIFF’S TRAINING ACADE MY – EXAMINATION POLICY The purpose of this order is to d etermine the examination polic y for applicants to the Sheriff’s Training Academy I. Policy Statement In order to maintain consisten cy in the information provided to applicants for the Sheriff’s Training Academy, the following points will comprise division policy in the examination and se lection process. A. Applicants must meet all minimu m requirements prior to the f irst day of academy training. B. Applicants must submit a new application for each examinatio n in which they desire to participate. C. Passing scores in either the written or physi cal agility exa minations will not be considered in any future exam inations. Applicants who fail a ny portion of the examination process must re-test completely. D. Applicants who are successful in both the written and physic al agility examinations, but are not reachabl e for selection must re-test completely.
