Monthly Activity Report
The purpose of this Order is to outline the procedures for comp leting the Security
Services Bureau Monthly Activity Report.
I. General Policy
The monthly activity report is the statistical reporting format to be used
by each SSB contracted facility . Monthly statistics and summar ies of
SSB activities are collected from each contracted facilities lo g book.
II. Documented Information
After reviewing the facility l og book, significant incidents an d events
should be written in a narrative format. Numeric al statistics for the
following information shall be noted: A. Calls for service B. On-views C. Arrests D. Parking warning notices E. Reports filed F. 5150 W & I holds G. Citizen contacts H. Employee contacts I. Medical Responses
III. Definitions
Each entry in the report will have a concise synopsis of the
circumstances surrounding the en try. The synopsis shall not in clude
names or protected information. The following are descriptions of each
item that shall be noted in the Activity Report:
A. Calls for Service
Any dispatched request or any request for law enforcement
response from a county employee or the public.

B. On-views
Any officer initiated acti vity worthy of a log entry.
C. Arrests
Any time an officer takes som eone into custody for a misdemeano r
or felony crime or any warrant arrest.
D. Citizen Contacts:
Any consensual encounter with a private citizen.
E. Employee Contacts:
Any consensual encounter wit h a county employee or county
vendor working within a contracted facility.
