2/05 (rev. 08/03) CIVIL DIVISION – DRESS CO DE AND GROOMIN G STANDARDS I. Purpose The purpose of this Operations Or der is to establish a dress c ode for Civil Division personnel. II. Dress Code Personnel of the Civil Division shall conf orm to departmental grooming standards and wear the appropriate dress as defined by their assignment and defined in the departmental Uniform, Dress, Gr ooming and Safety Equipment Man ual. III. Clerical Personnel Clerical personnel, which consis ts of all personnel not define d below, shall wear business dress consistent wit h an office atmosphere and approp riate with public contact in a courthouse environment. IV. Field Personnel Field personnel which includes the Sergeant, Records Officer, process servers and deputies, shall conform to departmental gr ooming standards and wear the appropriate uniform of the day as defined in the department un iform manual or as specified by the Division Commander. V. Administrative Staff Administrative staff which cons ists of the Division Commander, Records Manager, Administrative Services Officer, Records Supervisor a nd Accounting Technician shall conform to t he departmental gr ooming standard s and wear the appropriate uniform of the day o r business dress consistent w ith an office atmosphere and appropriate with public contact in a courthous e or business environment.
