APPLICANT STATE RECORD CHECKS
1. Persons applying for a busi ness license or permit requiring a Department of
Justice fingerprint record che ck will be obligated to pay the c urrent State of
California fee for the processi ng of non-criminal fingerprint c ards. The required
fee will be in the form of a che ck or money order for the corre ct amount payable
to the State of California. N o applicant shall be required to s ubmit fingerprint
cards for the purpose of obtai ning an FBI record check.
2. Persons applying for a permi t or business license to operate the following
businesses require a Department o f Justice fingerprint record c heck.

Amusement Centers
Auto Dismantlers Auto Sales (Used) B a r s Bail Agents Bail Solicitors Billiard Parlors
Card Room Owners/Managers
Carnival Circus Owners Cocktail Lounges
Dance Licenses
Flea Market Gun Dealers Ice Cream Vendors Junk Dealers Locksmiths Lunch Wagons
