Communications Page 1 of 1 1/05.1 (REV 10/98) EMPLOYEE TIME SHEET The purpose of this order is to p rovide instruction for complet ing the employee time sheet. I. Policy A. It is the responsibility of each employee to maintain up-to- date records on their time sheet and to submit th e properly completed time shee t. B. Employees who do not submit a properly completed time sheet will be required to come in on their ow n time and complete their time s heet. Supervisors are not expected to search for and attach needed do cuments or otherwise complete forms not p roperly submitted or completed due to employee carelessness or neglect. C. In the event an employee is unable to properly fill out thei r time sheet as a result of time off due to sick leave, vacation, or an unexpecte d (and excused) absence, the employee ’s supervisor will be responsible for submitting the employee’ s completed time sheet. D. Watch supervisors shall ensur e all personnel assigned to the ir shift have correctly completed their time s heet in accordance with General Order 15/05 and Communications B ureau procedures. E. When it is necessary to make changes to a time sheet that ha s been submitted to the Personnel Secti on, it is the responsibility of the watch supervisor or their designee to a dvise the bureau’s designated personnel clerk to complete a discrepancy form.
