Uniform / Dress Policy
The purpose of this Order is to outline the uniform and dress p olicy for the
Security Services Bureau.
I. General
It is the Security Services Bur eau policy that personnel assign ed to the
Bureau will follow the Uniform , Dress, Grooming, and Safety Equ ipment
Manual as well as General Order s 4/01 and 4/02 (Use of Sheriff’ s uniform
and equipment).
II. Authorized Uniforms
Uniformed personnel of all classe s are only authorized to wear Class “A”
Dress Uniform or Class “B” Work Uniform as shown in the Uniform , Dress,
Grooming, and Safety Equipment Manual.
III. Non-Uniform Dress
Personnel who are not r equired to wear a uniform shall wear app arel
consistent with a pr ofessional workforce as directed by the Div ision
Commander.
