24.1 PURPOSE:
The purpose of this policy is to explain the organizational structure and procedures
utilized within the Department’s criminal investigations function. The policy also sets
forth guidelines on day-to-day operations within the Criminal Investigations Division
(hereinafter referred to as CID) and identifies procedures to be used that are specific to
the Division.
