1. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to outline employee benefits and rights while participating in
contracted law enforcement services.
2. Policy
It is t he policy of this agency to , when appropriate , extend and participate in contract law
enforcement services.
3. Procedures
Agency members may be assigned to participate in a contract law enforcement service
arrangement (e.g., city with no police department contracts with Sheriff’s Office for certain
law enforcement services) . Employees assigned under a contract for law enforcement
services shall not at any time forfeit their employment rights , if any , promotional
opportunities, tr aining opportunities, or benefits.
