POLICY
It is the intent of the Department to recognize senior Sergeants for their dedication and
years of outstanding service. The Chief of Police maintains sole authority in assigning
and removing the designation of Master Sergeant of Police and reserves the right to
establish and set forth the criteria for selection to the designation.
