#RV Data Collection and Reporting

For statistical purposes, every month all #RV calls for service, contacts, etc. shall be
totaled. This report shall be done as early in the month as possible. The following is the
procedure:
1) At the end of every month, Communications will email NES a list of all #RV call s
2) Count the total number of events which had been tagged #RV for the previous month.
3) Add up how many total calls there had been for that month.
4) Add up each of the ev ent times (minutes) spent on each call and convert that into total
hours .
5) Get “AVIS ” report from Mary Flores and use th e highest total of time spent for on
investigations.
6) Add total the AVIS time and the total call for service times together.
7) Use the #RV entries that have a case number assigned and summarize interesting
and/ or pertinent calls for service , includ ing the case number for each incident .
8) Save the file as an on -going doc ument and email to Chief , FOD Captain, NES
Lieutenant, and NES Sergeant.

18-6759 – A family living in an RV to the rear of the businesses at 327 Moffett
Blvd became involved in a fight. One subject was arrested per private person’s
arrest.

18-6880 – A male subject who resides in a van entered a nearby apartment
without permission. H e was identified and arrested for burglary. While being
arrested, the subject fought with officers. He was booked.
18-6965 – A male subject who was living in a vehicle near Eagle Park was
contacted. He was found to be on probation for drug sales and a sear ch of the
subject revealed drug paraphernalia. The subject was issued a citation.
