ISD Interview Room Camera Instructions
The ISD interview room cameras have been upgraded and an upgraded version of
software is now in use. New shortcuts have been added to ISD and report writing
computers and the program must be opened using Internet Explorer currently (see
pictured icon).

CAMERA USE AND CASE CREATION:
The system works very similarly to the previous system for creating case folders or to
monitor and record. The case number can be entered before video starts or after an
interview is completed. Multiple cameras can be monitored through live viewing at the
same time if desired. A "SEARCH" field has been added to the home page and is free
form to allow searches by name, case number or detective/officer.

Annotations can now be made similar to Axon videos where a specific time can be
marked in the video and comments added if desired.

Click on Annotation - Click on MARK TIME and then add notes if desired (i.e.
statement regarding relationship, suspect admission, etc.)
CREATION OF VIDEOS FOR EVIDENCE:
The system allows video downloads in an .avi format or in an MP4 format. The MP4
format can be downloaded and then should be uploaded to Evidence.com to simplify
video access for detectives or the District Attorney's Office.
1. Locate and click on the case number for the desired file from the Case Files menu

2. Click on the download button that appears next to the desired recording for that
case (see blue arrow). Once this download button is selected, the next field gives
options for how to download. For MP4 downloads (Evidence.com compatible),
select the option "Transcoded video from room: CAM1."

3. The video will download and can be opened by clicking on it or selecting "Show
in Folder" after pressing the ^ symbol next to the downloaded video at the
bottom of the window.
4. Open/drag the video to a folder or the desktop and rename it with the case
number and identifying details (i.e. 21-04444 Sus IV).
5. Upload the video(s) to Evidence.com and tag with the
proper
information.
