Range grouping assignements. Groups will be divided into 2 groups to utilize
the rifle range and the shoot houseReview range rules, MEDEVAC Plan. Review of MVPD Policy and General
Orders as they pertain to use of force, less lethal weapons, CED
Review nomenclature of the AR-15. Instructor(s) will review the AR and
break down by the numbers step by st ep. Disassembly will be done down the
bolt. Review the optics, function check, review of placement on rifle.
Live fire familiarization with flip up sights and optics. Zero rifle with iron
sights and with optic.
Kneeling variations, prone, standing, 15, 20, 25 50 ft distances. Include
immediate action, malfunctions, TAC reloads
Less Lethal pairing with Lethal coverage. Less lethal transition to lethal
weapon. CED transition to lethal weapon. Less lethal movement with lethal coverage. Handgun review draw from holster, target engagements. Inlcude: prone,
standing, kneeling, supine, left and righ t sides. Off hand and strong side. 5,
10, 15' distance
