DEFINITIONS: BIO-HAZARDOUS WASTE - Any solid or liquid waste which may present a threat of infection to humans. The term includes but is not limited to non-liquid human tissue and body parts, laboratory waste which contains human disease-causing agents, used disposable sharps, human blood, human blood products and body fluids, and other materials which may represent a significant risk of infection to persons outside the generating facility. BIO-HAZARDOUS WASTE GENERATOR - A facility or person that produces or generates Bio-hazardous waste. BIO-HAZARDOUS WASTE STORAGE - The holding of Bio-hazardous Waste in a place other than at the generating facility for a temporary period, including intermediate transfer, at the end of which the waste is treated or stored elsewhere. BIO-HAZARDOUS WASTE TRANSPORT - The movement of Bio-hazardous Waste by air, rail, highway, or water. BODILY FLUIDS - Those fluids that have the potential to harbor blood borne pathogens such as Human Immune Deficiency Virus (HIV) and Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and will include semen and vaginal secretions, body excretions such as feces, nasal secretions, sputum, sweat, tears, urine and vomit are not Bio-hazardous Waste and will be disposed of into a sanitary sewer system. DISPOSAL - The discharge, deposit, injection, dumping, spilling, leaking, or placing of any Bio-hazardous Waste into or upon any land or water. FARADAY CAGE, FARADAY SHIELD, FARADAY BOX - An enclosure used to block electromagnetic fields. Faraday technology is used to isolate electronic devices from external radio waves to ensure the integrity of the evidence placed inside. NATIONAL INTEGRATED BALLISTIC INFORMATION NETWORK (NIBIN) - An automated computer-based imaging and identification system for fired casings recovered from crime scenes and fired casing standards test-fired from impounded auto-loading firearms. SHARPS - Bio-hazardous wastes, which as a result of these physical characteristics, are capable of puncturing, lacerating or otherwise breaking the skin when handled. PROCEDURE:
