DEFINITIONS:
EIC - Employee Information Center
EOA - Emergency Operating Areas are City-designated locations where in-field
operations are conducted to provide food, water, supplies, equipment and information to
local residents.
RIAT - Rapid Impact Assessment Team are specially trained teams that evaluate the
extent and nature of the damage for the purposes of establishing response and recovery
needs. RIAT teams are composed of members from various City departments.
