I. General
A. The Department’s approved portable digital fingerprinting device is the
Rapid ID Device (RIDD) capable of communicating with the Florida
Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Rapid ID System.
B. The RIDD is a specialized tool to assist in the positive identification of
individuals under appropriate circumstances.
