DEFINITIONS: EYEWITNESS - Eyewitness means a person whose identification by sight of another person may be relevant in a criminal proceeding. INDEPENDENT ADMINISTRATOR - Independent administrator means a person who is not participating in the investigation of a criminal offense and is unaware of which person in the lineup is the suspect. LINEUP - means a photo lineup or live lineup before an eyewitness of a minimum of six photographs or individuals, one of whom is the suspect. LINEUP ADMINISTRATOR - means the person who conducts a lineup. LINEUP IDENTIFICATION - A live one-on-one presentation of an individual(s), before an eyewitness, for the purpose of identifying or eliminating suspect(s). LIVE LINEUP - means a procedure in which a minimum of six people is displayed to an eyewitness for the purpose of determining if the eyewitness can identify the suspect of a crime. PHOTO LINEUP - means a procedure in which an array of photographs is displayed to an eyewitness for the purpose of determining if the eyewitness can identify the suspect of a crime. Photographic lineups will be presented sequentially. SEQUENTIALLY - Presentation of photographs in a group or individuals in a live lineup to an eyewitness one‐at‐a‐time. SHOWUP - The presentation of an individual or individuals to a witness or witnesses. PROCEDURE:
