DEFINITIONS:
REASONABLE SUSPICION - Specific and articulable facts known to a supervisor,
based on behaviors or other indicators which reasonably indicate that an employee may
be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. These behaviors may include, but not
be limited to behavior changes, moodiness, disheveled appearance, the smell of alcohol
and/or marijuana on the employee’s breath or about their person, bloodshot watery
eyes, slurred speech, describable physical imbalance and any admission to consuming
alcohol or any banned substance other than those medically prescribed.
