I. Authority and Responsibility
A. Division Majors will be responsible for ensuring that line inspections are
conducted of employees and areas under their command.
B. Supervisors who have direct authority and responsibility for the operation
of a specific component or function will conduct line inspections.
C. Supervisors will conduct routine inspections of subordinates to ensure
they are properly attired, equipped and fit for duty.
D. Supervisors will conduct routine inspections of subordinate work areas to
ensure they are clean, functional and in compliance with Department
SOPs.
