I. ICS Organizational Components and Implementation A. The ICS organization is based on the following five major component functions or management activities: 1. Command; [46.1.3] 2. Operations; [46.1.4] 3. Planning; [46.1.5] 4. Logistics; and [46.1.6] 5. Finance/Administration. [46.1.7] B. Implementation Implementation of any component or management activity of the ICS will depend upon the seriousness of the situation, length of time the threat exists, and the complexity and resources involved for successful management of the critical incident or major event.
