Merced County Sheriff's Office Agency Procedure Manual MERCED COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE PROCEDURE MANUAL This Procedure Manual will help the Merced County Sheriff’s Office run systematically and efficiently. Having a written outline of how things shall be done within the agency ensures that every member of the Merced County Sheriff’s Office has the knowledge and vision to contribute to the growth of the agency. It is the intent of the Merced County Sheriff’s Office to ensure that all procedures are written clearly, so they are coherent and useful. Having procedures clearly outline within this manual will help to reduce confusion and provide for a uniform systematic approach to the job. The Merced County Sheriff’s Office will strive to continually adapt and change to trends in law enforcement and corrections alike. As trends change so too may procedures change.
