KISSIMMEE POLICE DEPARTMENT GENERAL ORDER General Order 101 – Mission, Goals, Values & Objectives Page 1 of 2 TITLE: MISSION, GOALS, VALUES & OBJECTIVES 101 EFFECTIVE: 07/01/2015 REVISED: 09/05/2025 SCOPE : ALL EMPLOYEES REVIEW AUTHORITY: PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS LIEUTENANT CFA STANDARDS: 1.04 (A-C) 101.01 Mission Statement 101.02 Core Values 101.03 Goals and Objectives Policy: The Department shall direct priorities and establish a basis for measuring successes through annual Goals and Objectives. 101.01 Mission Statement: We, the members of the Kissimmee Police Department, shall work in partnership with the community to conti nuously provide a safe and secure environment in which to live, work and visit. 101.02 Core Values : We are committed to upholding the core values that define our character and guide our actions: Courage, Honor, Excellence, Integrity and Service Above Sel f. With courage , we face challenges and take risks with bravery and integrity. We act with honor , maintaining the highest ethical standards and treating others with esteem and respect. We pursue excellence in all that we do, striving for professionalism an d exceptional service. Guided by integrity , we are dedicated to doing what is right, even when it is difficult. Above all, we embrace a spirit of service above self , demonstrating unwavering dedication, humility, and selflessness in every duty we perform. 101.03 Goals and Objectives: The Chief of Police and Deputy Chiefs shall solicit input from Senior Staff to formulate goals and objectives that are practical, realistic, beneficial, and obtainable. [CFA 1.04 – A] These goals and objectives shall be disseminated to all employees through PowerDMS. The Senior Staff are responsible for ensuring copies of the Goals and Objectives are sent to those empl oyees who are responsible for completion. Senior Staff shall review goals and objectives quarterly to gauge the progress of their employees and list the outcome measures for each one and send progress reports to both Deputy Chiefs. Senior Staff may request an extension or identify a need for modification as necessary . [CFA 1.04 – B] KISSIMMEE POLICE DEPARTMENT GENERAL ORDER General Order 101 – Mission, Goals, Values & Objectives Page 2 of 2 Both Deputy Chiefs shall collectively condu ct an annual review of all goals and objectives; this shall include a year -end report to include successes, modifications, and brief explanation of actions taken.
