POLICY
It is recognized that Range Staff have specific needs that make the standard uniforms
impractical. Range staff routinely work with oils and solvents making a light-colored shirt
inconvenient. For safety reasons it is important that Range Staff be dressed in attire that tends to
make them stand out and be readily recognized as an instructor while running a firing line.
Detailed descriptions of italicized uniform items are found in K-300.
Rangemasters and Assistant Rangemasters are therefore authorized to wear the following Range
Staff Uniform:

Shirt:
o Black colored 5.11 brand performance polo shirt.

The Sheriff's Office badge shall be embroidered on the shirt in a manner
consistent with the stand
