Kern County Sheriff’s Office Policies and Procedures TITLE: SHERIFF’S DISPATCHER UNIFORMS NO: K-0425 APPROVED: Donny Youngblood, Sheriff-Coroner EFFECTIVE: August 1, 1990 REVIEWED: 11/06/2025 REVISED: 11/06/2025 UPDATED: 11/06/2025 K-0425 -1 Sheriff's Dispatchers of all ranks shall wear the uniform as described in this section. Their uniform and appearance shall be held to the same standards of cleanliness and grooming as other uniformed members. Dispatcher Uniform shall consist of the following: • Sheriff’s Office Polo in any solid color with the following modifications: o First initial and last name will be embroidered on the right chest of the shirt in yellow-gold letters to match the color of the Sheriff’s Office Logo. o The lettering “DISPATCH” will go above the name on the right chest of the shirt. o COMMUNITY/PUBLIC EVENTS: Green Sheriff’s Office Polo • Undershirt o If worn, must be clean, crew neck, white or black in color and in good condition.
