Members of the Sheriff’s Office who are required to wear and/or maintain a uniform shall follow
the specifications as listed in this section. All authorized uniform suppliers shall only sell items
that meet the specifications as listed.
Refer to KCSOPPM K-0400 for specific clothing items and equipment pieces required for each
uniform classification. Use the following policy for specifications related to each item referenced
in KCSOPPM K-0400.
For clarification, the Generation 1 Class B Shirts and Trousers can continue to be worn until they
are no longer serviceable.
