REFERENCE:
POLICY
Peace officers will be permitted official visits with incarcerated people inside the security
area. These visits will be in areas designated by staff. Visiting will not be allowed during
incarcerated person feeding periods.
Procedure A. Personnel Duties and Responsibilities
Staff will
•
Verify the identification of the peace officer through the use of agency identification
card.
•
Check the JMS for the incarcerated person's housing location.
•
Check with the appropriate officer to determine if the incarcerated person is in the
facility.
•
If the incarcerated person is not available, advise the peace officer.
