POLICY
The Kern County Sheriff's Office is committed to providing the highest possible level of service to
the community. The Sheriff’s Office recognizes the need to find alternative ways of providing some
services which have traditionally been provided by deputies to meet the community’s needs and to
assist the department in fulfilling its mission.
