PURPOSE
This training bulletin is intended to assist Kern County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) personnel
in understanding their legal authority and responsibilities when enforcing criminal laws
on tribal lands—specifically in relation to the recently opened Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
Tejon, operated by the Tejon Indian Tribe.
