Training Bulletin 25-65 Update: Lerdo Directive 25-11: Hospital Guard and
Transport Procedures
On October 17, 2025, Training Bulletin 25-65: “Lerdo Directive 25-11: Hospital Guard and
Transport Procedures” was disseminated. After being disseminated, it was determined
that further clarifications were needed to Lerdo Directive 25-11. This bulletin serves as a
notification that Lerdo Directive 25-11 was modified to include additional clarification
regarding the process for assigning same-gender personnel for hospital guarding and
transport duties which are as follows:
“The gender guarding requirement outlined in this directive applies specifically to the
initial transport and guarding of an incarcerated person. Once the incarcerated pe
