ISSUE: 25-60 TRAINING BULLETIN DATE: October 9, 2025 Department of Motor Vehicles Memo 25-15: Driver’s License and Identification Card Redesign On September 30, 2025, the California Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) issued Law Enforcement Information Memo 25-15: Driver’s License and Identification Card Redesign, which is attached to this training bulletin. The purpose of the memo is to notify California law enforcement agencies about the Driver’s License (DL) and Identification (ID) Card redesign effective September 30, 2025. By acknowledging this training bulletin, you are indicating you have read both this training bulletin and DMV Memo 25-15 in their entirety. All Sheriff’s Office personnel are required to review this training bulletin and DMV Memo no later than November 6, 2025.
