TRAINING BULLETIN ISSUE: 25-40 DATE: June 30, 2025 UPDATES TO POLICIES KCSOPPM P-0200, KCSOPPM P-0300, KCSOPPM P-0600 AND DPPM B-0700 AND DELETION OF DPPM H-1350 A recent review was completed on Kern County Sheriff’s Office Policy and Procedures Manual (KCSOPPM) P-0200, KCSOPPM P-0300, KCSOPPM P-0600 and Detentions Policy and Procedures Manual (DPPM) B-0700, in order to ensure compliance with PC 6048(b) and Title 15 Section 1028, along with the consolidation of DPPM H-1350 into KCSOPPM P-0200. Below is a summary of the modifications made to each policy: KCSOPPM P-0200: Automated External Defibrillator • Verbiage was added to comply with PC 6048(b) and Title 15 Section 1028. • In order to streamline efficiency, Attachment A and Attachment B were updated and are now modifiable PDF documents and are on Sheriff Net to be directly filled out and can be submitted via email (KSCOMedicalDirector@kernsheriff.org) prior to the end of shift.
