ISSUE: 25-30 TRAINING BULLETIN DATE: June 10, 2025 KCSOPPM F-1300: Use of Force – Crowd Control and KCSOPPM F-1300 Attachment A – Civil Unrest Response Guide Effective June 9, 2025, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office approved KCSOPPM F-1300. Given the recent events, including protests and rioting in Los Angeles, a mutual aid request may soon be necessary for the Sheriff’s Office to support law enforcement agencies in the Los Angeles area within Los Angeles County. Additionally, these protests appear to be spreading across the United States and could eventually affect Kern County.
