California Assembly Bill 2111
The purpose of this training bulletin is to provide deputies and/or staff members with updated information
regarding the California Vehicle Code (CVC) 5201.1. Effective January 1, 2025, the following amendments
were enacted regarding the sale, use, and alteration of products or devices that obscure or interfere with
the readability or recognition of a vehicle’s license plate.
