Shield Suite Application: RIPA Reports
LEFTA has recently updated their RIPA application,
titled Shield Suite. This app can assist deputies in
completing and submitting RIPAs. Here is a screenshot
of the free app in the Apple Store:
Use your LEFTA login and password. Click on the plus
sign in the upper right-hand corner to generate a new
RIPA report. If you have issues with errors once in the
app, logging out and then logging back will normally
resolve the issue.
Each of the following has its own section:
• Fill in the case number.
• Add additional subjects to the stop. You can fill in information for both subjects at the time
within each section of the RIPA report.
• Location: The address (default is Block number and Street name) will automatically
populate if location services are turned on for the cellphone and app.
• Fill in Contact Type.
