“Community Policing Defined” Training Course
As part of the Kern County Sheriff’s Office’s effort to better understand the benefits and
concepts of Community Policing while strengthening the working relationships with the
community stakeholders of Kern County, as identified by the Stipulated Judgement, all
Sworn personnel are required to complete “Community Policing Defined” training
available on the COPS Training Portal. A link to the training has been provided below.
