Legal Update: Positional Asphyxia (GC 7286.5) Legal Update: Positional Asphyxia (GC 7286.5) is being offered through the POST Learning Portal. Upon completion of this 20-minute course, students will be able to define positional asphyxia, identify risks for positional asphyxia, and list actions that mitigate the risk of positional asphyxia. The course offers 1 CPT credit hour and is required for all sworn staff in the Deputy and Detentions ranks.
