Ready Kern
Communications Section Policy and Procedure C-200 - Ready Kern has been upgraded
to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Department Policy and Procedure Manual as Section
H-1510. Its effective date was January 20, 2023.
The Ready Kern policy has been revised as follows:
Provides examples of when Ready Kern should be used, and the information
Ready Kern notifications must contain.
Provides criteria for Ready Kern’s use in missing persons investigations.
Provides California Standard Statewide Evacuation Terminology to be used
