CHP Information Bulletin 273:
Interstate Hours-of-Service for Agricultural Operations
On September 15, 2022, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) issued Allied Agency
Information Bulletin 273: Interstate Hours-of-Service for Agricultural Operations. The
purpose of the bulletin is to provide information related to interstate hours-of-service
(HOS) for agricultural operations. These HOS regulations contain exceptions for
agricultural commodities being transported in interstate commerce.
