A new self-paced course is now available for all POST Learning Portal users. Legal
Update: Positional Asphyxia (GC 7286.5) provides an update on the changes that AB
490 made to Government Code Section 7286.5, effective 1/1/2022.
The hyperlink will take you directly to the course on the Learning Portal. Upon
completion of this 20-minute course, students will be able to define positional asphyxia,
identify risks for positional asphyxia, and list actions that mitigate the risk of positional
asphyxia. The course offers 1 CPT credit hour.
