Documentation of inmate education is evaluated during our PREA audits and is an important part of maintaining our PREA Certification. DBPPM P-300, Directive B-2, Comprehensive Education states: Within 30 days of intake, KCSO will provide comprehensive education to inmates in person or through video education KCSO will maintain documentation of inmate participation in PREA education sessions and require inmates to sign a form stating that they have attended and understood these sessions.
