Updated Information Regarding Law Enforcement Holds at Kern Medical
In June 2019, Kern Medical stopped accepting law enforcement holds for arrestees. This
information was distributed department wide in Training Bulletin 19-25.
Kern Medical is now accepting holds on arrestees brought into the Emergency
Department. The attached form is required to be completed by the arresting deputy prior
to placing a hold on any arrestee.
