To maintain compliance with this state statute the Training Section has developed a PowerPoint presentation and driving test on SheriffNet. The reading of the PowerPoint, which includes pursuit training, and the taking of the driving test will satisfy the annual pursuit training requirement of PC 13519.8. The review of the PowerPoint and taking of the test will have to be completed on an annual basis at the beginning of each year. Supervisors will assure their personnel complete the training and driving test each year.
