11.2 SEXUAL/UNLAWFUL HARASSMENT
AMENDS: None. New Policy.
PURPOSE: The purpose of this policy is to affirm the Hialeah Gardens Police
Department’s commitment to maintaining a work environment that is free
from sexual and other forms of unlawful harassment. This policy provides
guidance on recognizing, reporting, and addressing inappropriate behavior
and establishes clear standards for professional conduct to protect the
dignity and well-being of all employees, vendors, and visitors.
SCOPE: All departmental members.
POLICY: The Hialeah Gardens Police Department recognizes that harassment of
any kind undermines the integrity of the workplace and adversely impacts
morale, performance, and trust within the organization. In alignment with
federal and state law, the department strictly prohibits sexual harassment
and all other forms of unlawful harassment. This policy outlines the
expectations, responsibilities, and procedures for identifying, reporting,
and addressing such conduct to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive
work environment for all.
