604.2 POLICY
The Garden Grove Police Department will strive to use eyewitness identification
techniques, when appropriate, to enhance the investigative process and will
emphasize identifying persons responsible for crime and exonerating the innocent.
This is done to m aximize the reliability of witness identifications, minimize unjust
accusations of innocent persons and to establish evidence that is reliable and
conforms to established legal procedure.
