IN-CAR VIDEO AND BODY WORN CAMERAS (Lexipol Policy 419) 419.2 POLICY It is the policy of this the Garden Grove Police Department to install, use, and maintain an IVS in designated enforcement vehicles. The Department will maintain and issue BWC for use by Garden Grove Police Department enforcement personnel assigned to a patrol function, NTU, GSU, and SRT. Use of the IVS/BWC equipment is mandatory as outlined in this policy. It is recognized that it may not always be practical to activate the IVS/BWC; howe ver, those occurrences should be the exception rather than the rule.  419.3.1 NON -UNIFORMED PERSONNEL RESPONSIBILITIES  419.4 ACTIVATION OF THE IVS/BWC  419.4.3 WHEN ACTIVATION IS NOT REQUIRED  419.5 REVIEW OF IVS/BWC RECORDINGS  419.6 RECORDING MEDIA STORAGE AND INTEGRITY  419.7 IVS/BWC TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES  419.8 TRAINING  419.9 RECORDED INCIDENTS Above are the highlights of the policy on IVS & BWC .
