requirements identified in any applicable collective bargaining agreement or Human
Resources Policy and Administrative Procedure E-4. [CALEA 25.4.1 1, a-f]
B. Coordination/Control of Grievance Records: The Gainesville Police Department
shall maintain a records control system of all grievance-related documents involving
Department members. [CALEA 22.4.2]

grievance process shall submit copies of all grievance records to the Office of the
Chief of Police.
The Office of the Chief of Police shall store the grievance records in a central
file, including the grievance, any supporting documents to the grievance, and any
responses to the grievance.
