A. POLICY
It is the policy of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department to allow the use of marked
police vehicles, or other City equipment, on off-duty details where it can be demonstrated
that there is a direct benefit to the City of Fort Lauderdale. Any use of a marked police
vehicle, including a PAVe vehicle, for an off-duty detail must have the written approval
of the Operations Bureau Assistant Chief.
