INTERCITY RADIO
RECORDED PHONE CONVERSATION, THEY
MIAMI-DADE POLICE DEPARTMENT
MUST MAKE A REQUEST TO THE CHIEF OF
OFFICER
POLICE, INDICATING THE TIME OF THE CALL
RADIO
AND THE REASON FOR THIS REQUEST.
RECORDING
RECORDINGS WILL BE RETAINED FOR A
RECORDS RETENTION
MINIMUM OF THIRTY DAYS, AND IN
SUPERVISOR
ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA'S
TELEPHONE
RECORDS RETENTION SCHEDULE.
PERSONNEL WHO BY THEIR POSITION ARE
APPROVED:
AUTHORIZED TO UTILIZE THE RECORDING
EQUIPMENT WILL BE DEMONSTRATED IN ITS
OPERATION.

THE MIAMI-DADE POLICE DEPARTMENT’S
COMMUNICATION SECTION. THEY CAN
PROVIDE IMMEDIATE REPLAY ABILITY FOR
ALL TRANSMISSIONS ON THE PRIMARY
FREQUENCY. MIAMI-DADE POLICE
COMMUNICATIONS SECTION MAINTAINS
THEIR TAPES FOR A MINIMUM OF THIRTY
DAYS. COPIES MAY BE OBTAINED BY
CONTACTING THE MIAMI-DADE
COMMUNICATIONS BY E-MAIL OR FAX.
