I. POLICY
It is the policy of the Delray Beach Police Department to establish guidelines for the
enforcement of the DUI statutes and the investigation of DUI related traffic crash
investigations. The enforcement of the DUI statute and the investigation of DUI related traffic
crash investigations have become increasingly more sophisticated. The height and concern
of the public and the need for more precise enforcement and investigative techniques
requires a set of concise operational guidelines.
